The Mental Health Services Helpline is open 24 hours a day. It is a free call number for confidential advice and assessment about mental illness and services. The helpline is a triage service run by our community mental health clinicians. This means they work out what type of treatment or service you may need. They may refer you to a specialist mental health service or provide details for another service to assist you. You can ask for an interpreter for sign language or English translation.
