Moreton Group Medical Services operates a mobile clinic that helps remove barriers to accessing healthcare.  We take Doctors to the patients providing bulk billed access.  Our Doctors understand that access to healthcare can be blocked due to circumstances beyond the control of patient seeking support.

The Alcohol and Other Drug Awareness (AOD) program is designed to deliver education, referral pathways and advocacy to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait community of Circular Head.

Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS) exist in each state and territory. They provide confidential telephone counselling, information and referral service and operate 24 hours. ADIS is operated by Turning Point.

Text the Effects is an anonymous SMS service that provides confidential info about the effects of drugs in a quick and easy way.

Simply text 0439 835 563 with the name of the drug you want to know more about for an immediate answer – anywhere, anytime.

A Tasmanian Lifeline is a telephone support service for Tasmanians of all ages who need someone to talk things through with, or just need someone to listen. Tasmanian-focused and Tasmanian based, A Tasmanian Lifeline offers non-judgmental, one-off or ongoing support for anyone having a tough time.

Kids in Focus is a state-wide voluntary program that can assist families with children up to 18 years of age who are impacted by their parents use of alcohol or other drugs. It provides children and families with the tools to thrive and succeed, as individuals and as a family; supporting parents in making positive changes.

SMART Recovery meetings offer a supportive environment to achieve behaviour change goals of your choice around alcohol & other drug use, or any behaviours of concern.

BreakThrough is a program for family, friends and partners of people with addictive behaviours and offers practical strategies about how to talk to loved ones about their substance use, better respond to and manage challenging behaviours, and make self-care a priority.

This app is designed to assist you with quitting. It counts the time since you have quit, plus the money you have saved by quitting. The app also includes rewards for reaching quit milestones, a tool to help handle cravings, helpful information, and a way to interact with a community of people also quitting while using the app.
